Choosing the Best Thank You Treats for Your Halloween Party Guests

Its a big deal to make sure you have the right mix of party favors when it comes to planning your Halloween party. Decide on a theme and stick with it throughout your decorations, your costumes, your Halloween food and drinks, and right down to the candies and party favors you will be giving out to guests or Trick or Treat visitors.

If you are organising a Halloween fancy dress party for your children, then it is quite normal to give out goody bags to each guest when the party is over and it is time for everyone to leave.

These party favours can be whatever you decide and here are some great things that you can include in each goody bag that will bring a smile to each little face.

Choose the Right Goody Bag

You will need some sort of container to place your items in and a way to carry on the Halloween theme is to choose a goody that is decorated with Halloween images.

You can buy bags that have pictures of pumpkins, witches, and ghosts printed on the front of them. It is best to decide how many things you want to put in each bag so that you are sure to get the right size.

Halloween Themed Decals

Children love stickers and they will simply adore getting a batch of decals. You will be able to find lots of Halloween themed stickers with spiders, bugs, pumpkins and bats.

Choose between getting large individual stickers or a sheet that has a variety of images.

You can even buy fingernail decals that are small enough to fit on children’s fingers. This will certainly keep them entertained.

Add Some Great Candy

A goody bag is not complete without a few pieces of good quality candy. You really can’t go wrong with your choice.

The best thing to do is to buy several variety packs of regular candy like Tootsie Rolls, Hershey's kisses, fun size Skittles and then add in some Halloween inspired treats like eyeball candy, gummy worms and vampire teeth.

Halloween is the time when bobbing for apples is a really popular game.

Children will have lots of fun trying to retrieve apples from a bowl of water using only their hands. As a great party favour, you could also add a toffee apple to their gift bag.

Give Each Child a Halloween Cookie

Other foods that children will really enjoy are Halloween cookies. If you are a whiz in the kitchen you can decide to bake a selection of cookies.

You can invest in a bat or a ghost shaped cookie cutter and even use some piped icing to add each child’s initial so that they have their own personalised cookie to take home. Or you can go the easy route and pick up some ready made biscuits from the supermarket.

Add Some Silly Bandzs into the Mix

Silly Bandzs are wrist bands that are made from silicone. They come in a whole host of shapes and colours and you can even get glowing bands.

These are really popular with children of all ages so would make an excellent addition to a goody bag. You get quite a lot in each packet so they work out to be quite cost effective too.
