Moving On Break Up - Yes - You Can Move On

Whether you've just been dumped, or you did the dumping, whether it was a long term marriage or a fairly short relationship, these things don't really matter that much, you're still in a lot of pain.

The question you are probably asking is the best way of moving on break up. That is the most common question people ask when they are looking for the easiest, and least painful, way of learning to live without the one they love in their lives.

The bad news is that it will take time, the good news is that there are things that you can do that might be able to make the process a little more bearable when it's going on.

The most important thing for you to remember is that you don't want to do anything that will increase your pain.

I know this sounds dumb, but you'd be surprised how many people make incredibly poor choices when they are in pain and actually increase not only their own pain but they bring pain to the other people in their life. Knowing what not to do is as important as knowing what to do.

Here are a few things that you can keep in mind while dealing with your own grief over your breakup. Just don't let your pain push you to do something stupid that will hurt you or other people.

As impossible as it may be to believe, you can love again and be happy again... if you allow yourself.

1. Don't harass your ex hoping that they will take you back. At best they will think of you as a pathetic loser who they can count on as a plan B if things don't work out well with someone else, at worst you'll look like a deranged stalker. Just find the strength to move on and let your ex do the same.

2. Don't get all excessive. That means don't smoke, drink, eat, or fool around. None of these will offer any long term benefit, and most of them won't even offer any short term benefit. If you do these things you will still be broken up with your ex except now you'll be hungover, bloated and could potentially end up with an STD, so not worth it.

What you do want to do:

1. Live your life. I know it sounds insane now but if you try to spend time doing the things you like to do, especially those things your ex had no interest in doing so you haven't done them for a while, you will get some relief from your pain. Sure, it might just be temporary, but that's better than nothing.

2. Cry on a friends shoulder. Talk to your friends, this can be a great way to let it all out. If you try to be tough and you keep it all bottled up inside, you'll make it virtually impossible to really find peace again. Instead you'll allow your hurt and pain to simmer slowly below the surface and all it will need is a small breeze to turn it into a roaring flame again. Time to let it out so that you can truly heal and move on once and for all.

Moving on break up is just one of those sucky life lessons we all go through at some point in our lives. Make it as easy on yourself as possible, use these tips

You are a life Saver!!

I recently discovered this site and I can tell you that my life has not been the same. I now come here EVERYDAY and spend at least 1 hour.

I used to spend that time browsing online fashion and beauty magazine which just means that I spend more. Now I have replaced that habit with coming here.

In future I will think about contributing articles as well. Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!! and God bless"
