Test for Inflammation in the Body

In part because of anti-inflammatory medications, some people believe that having an inflammation in the body isn’t a big deal and that all they have to do is take medicine and the inflammation will go away without seeing a doctor.

But it is a big deal and the reason is that an inflammation can be a drop of water leaking from a dam.

One drop is easily dealt with and isn’t a big deal - but a leaking dam signifies that there is a problem and it needs to be taken care of before there are a lot more drops that could lead to a rupturing dam.

Whenever you have something wrong in your body, your body will react and that’s why a test for inflammation in the body can head off serious problems.

Like a lighthouse warning ships about the treacherous and rocky coastline, your body always tells you when something is wrong.

It might be a gentle nagging feeling that something is off.

It might be a twinge or two or it might be chronic pain - but you will get the message. With inflammation, your body actually produces a measurable reaction.

This reaction can be measured because when there’s an inflammation, your liver produces a protein that’s called C-reactive.

When the results come back for your C-reactive protein (or CRP) and the level is higher than it should be, it’s a sign that your body is dealing with an inflammation.

The test itself is a simple blood test that can be drawn right at your family doctor’s office or in a separate lab.

Once your blood arrives for testing, it’s then mixed with an antiserum.

An antiserum contains antibodies and works like a flag to let the immune system know there’s a problem.

The test won’t pinpoint the site of the inflammation, but it’s a crucial test that can let your physician know you’re dealing with something that’s inflammatory in nature.

Everything from autoimmune diseases to bacterial infections can be found thanks to the CRP test.

Another test for inflammation in the body that some physicians like to use is the erythrocyte sedimentation rate or (ESR) test.

Like the CRP, this blood test will show if there is any inflammation and it’s also used with patients that are known to have inflammatory health problems as a way of keeping track of their condition.

If you’ve had problems with recurring or chronic inflammation, you would be wise to ask your doctor to order the blood test.

One great way to deal with inflammation to help your body gets its balance back is by going on the raw food diet.

It is simple to start and to keep following and I'm still eating normal foods.

I recently discovered this site and I can tell you that my life has not been the same. I now come here EVERYDAY and spend at least 1 hour.

I used to spend that time browsing online fashion and beauty magazine which just means that I spend more. Now I have replaced that habit with coming here.

In future I will think about contributing articles as well. Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!! and God bless"
