There are plenty of little things that you can do in order to save money. If you use these 3 simple suggestions, you will notice how your attitude to money and spending will change for the better.
Set A Budget
The most important thing that people neglect to do is to set themselves a budget. If you have ever wondered why it is that at the end of the month your bank account is overdrawn but you have nothing to show for the money you have spent, it will because you have no real control over your outgoings.
It is very simple to work out a sensible budget that you know you will be able to stick to.
Work out what your fixed costs for the month are such as your rent or mortgage, your car payments, credit card payments, pensions, savings, food shopping etc.
Once you have identified these fixed costs, you can subtract this from the amount of money you have coming in and the balance is what you have to work with.
If you can then set yourself a weekly allowance from the remaining amount and try to stick to not overspending, you should notice the difference before too long.
Pay With Cash Whenever Possible
If it is possible, you should always try to pay in cash. At the beginning of every week visit your bank or a cash machine and withdraw your weekly allowance.
Then make a deal with yourself to only spend what is in your purse or wallet. This means that you will need to think seriously about each purchase you make and figure out whether you need to buy or not.
This is a really good method of self control which may take a little time to get used to. The good thing is that you will clearly see where your weaknesses are, whether it is shopping for clothes, for food that you don’t need or even something that seems so small and inexpensive like your daily visit to your favourite coffee shop for a frothy drink with a muffin. You might be amazed how quickly these costs add up.
Start A Loose Change Savings Jar
A great way to save money is to collect all your loose change together. People like to use paper money as opposed to the coins, which can end up at languishing at the bottom of your bag.
Every evening when you get back from work, make a conscious effort to empty all the loose change from your bag, your purse or your pockets and watch how quickly your loose change jar will fill up.
As an added incentive you can even decide that the money will be for a specific purpose, whether it is to go towards your savings account or whether you want to use the money for a special treat.
These are just 3 simple things that anyone can incorporate into their every day life. These may seem like insignificant actions but if you make the effort to record the amount you spend and save each month and take a look at the figures in 12 months time, you may be pleasantly surprised at the results.

habit with coming here.
