The sense of touch is vital to humans. We thrive on the sensation of touch. In fact, it goes back to our very beginnings, even at birth we are immediately held and touched. We respond to that.
As time goes on we learn that hugs are a wonderful way to convey our feelings. And even later, as we become involved in intimate relationships we use touch in other ways, including as a big part of foreplay.
It’s no wonder then that a sensual massage not only creates a sense of intimacy, but it is also very relaxing.
Before beginning such a massage it is important to set the right mood. The environment should be relaxing and the supplies needed should be readily available.
A firm bed can be a good massage spot, but if you have a soft bed the floor is a good option. Simply use a comforter or other soft item for your partner to lie on.
You need massage oil, relaxing music, scented candles, a small pillow, a large towel, and a smaller towel.
Keep in mind that your partner will eventually be naked so you will need to insure that the room is warm. Turn out the lights, turn the thermostat up, light the candles, and get the music started.
Setting the mood in the room before bringing your partner in will make the event more romantic.
The natural conclusion to a sensual massage is intercourse. That is perhaps why so many couples enjoy the routine and include massages as a regular part of their relaxation time.
As you begin your partner should be lying face down. Add a small amount of the massage oil into your hands and begin rubbing on the high part of his/her back. Keep your hands flat and move in circles.
Always insure that your hands are well oiled. Never remove both hands from the back at the same time.
Slowing move your hands in a fashion to cover the entire back, from upper to lower. After reaching the lowest part of the back you can begin using long strokes that begin low and finish at the nape of the neck. Continue this for approximately five to ten minutes.
Next you will want to focus on the neck and shoulders. Use a firm but gentle kneading motion.
The time spent in this area should depend on how much your partner enjoys the attention to this part of the body. Some people feel a lot of stress in their neck and shoulders so they may desire more time here than someone else.
Once done with the shoulders and neck do a gentle trail down the back to the buttocks. Begin with a kneading motion and then change to making small circular motions.
Next you will work your way down the legs. Begin each area with the kneading motion and then switch to the circular motion.
Then move to the feet, including the toes and in between the toes. Now you are ready to have your partner turn over. Work in reverse, moving from the feet up the legs.
Keep in mind that the massage is foreplay – it is intended to result in intercourse. Linger in any erogenous zones but remember to tease as you go along with the massage.
To add fun to the massages you can use feathers, or even fur as a part of the tease. Also blow on your partner as you massage.
You don’t have to be an expert to make the experience enjoyable for your partner. Start with these ideas and build on them. Make the massage both fun and romantic.
