How to Burn Fat - Take Small Steps to Lose Big

When people think of losing weight, they often think of the major changes they are going to have to make in their lives.

However, the most effective way to lose a lot of weight and keep it off is to take it one step at a time. Doing too much at once is a good way to stress yourself out, which will increase your chances of failure.

So, if you want to lose weight and you want the weight to stay off then start off with small steps.

Changing Your Diet

Remember, we’re taking small steps here. This is not something you are going to do overnight, instead it’s going to take time before your entire diet changes. So, what do you do first?

Start by eliminating one unhealthy food/drink the first week. Make it a goal not to eat or drink that particular item for the entire week…and the week after that.

Then, the next week, add another unhealthy food/drink to the list and just keep going.

Once you begin eliminating unhealthy food/drink choices from your diet, you will have to replace them with healthy options or else you’ll go hungry.

So, gradually start to add in healthy food options. For instance, if you’re used to drinking soda in the morning, replace the soda with a fruit smoothie. This is a much healthier option and you’ll notice an increase in energy too!

By only eliminating one unhealthy item from your diet each week, you are giving your brain and body time to adjust to the change.

And, by adding a new healthy food/drink to your diet each week, you’re taking the time to train yourself into eating healthy and not overloading yourself at the same time.

Start Exercising

The majority of people know that exercising is another important part of losing weight.

The problem is that many people start working out at rapid rates, which causes them to burn out quickly and eventually they stop going. This is why you should not start exercising to huge workout routines at first.

Instead, you need to take it slow. Start by visiting the gym one or two days a week. Get on the machines at the gym that you like and when you get tired, go ahead and call it a day.

Once you get in the habit of “hitting” the gym on a normal basis, you’ll start to feel better, which will keep you motivated to go back.

You’ll also notice that you’re workout times will increase as you’ll begin to push yourself harder during your workouts.

When you take this approach to working out, you’ll feel good about going to the gym and working out for 20 minutes.

In contrast, if you start off expecting to workout at least an hour a day and you only go for 20 minutes, you’re most likely going to feel lousy about it

Taking it one small step at a time is going to help you achieve your weight-loss goals. Remember, “slow and steady wins the race.”

I used to spend that time browsing online fashion and beauty magazine which just means that I spend more. Now I have replaced that habit with coming here.
