Positioning Yourself to Receive the Benefits of the Law of Attraction
There are times when someone will discover a new concept, get excited about it, but accidentally close themselves off to the experience. This is what happens with the law of attraction in many cases.
You want to open yourself up to the possibilities that this concept can deliver. You don’t want to unknowingly sabotage yourself and prevent the life you desire from occurring.
By remembering a few simple rules, you’ll enjoy everything the law of attraction has to offer.
The first thing you want to do is set the tone for a good start to your day. This is so important. Have you ever had a day when you woke up and immediately stubbed your toe? You may have found yourself in a bad mood for the rest of the day.
Instead of turning things around and making sure you start off on the right foot, you simply allow your mood to control the situation.
A better approach would be to use the law of attraction to provide you with a healthy start to your day so that nothing can ruin it.
The same thing can happen if you encounter someone who sours your mood. You will want to surround yourself with people who can further your goals and desires.
The law of attraction will specifically instruct you to build bonds with those who can help or support you in bringing your dreams to fruition.
You may not be able to choose your family, but you can create boundaries for those who are not aligned with what you’re doing with the law of attraction.
The same goes for friendships. You want friendships that are healthy and beneficial, not those that are toxic.
In order to reap the rewards of the law of attraction, you’ll need to learn how to turn a bad situation into a good one. So many people go through life playing the victim card, concentrating on what has happened to them.
A better way to engage with the law of attraction is to use negative situations as a learning tool or as motivation to make you work harder, faster, and smarter toward your goals.
This requires good control over your emotions. You can’t go through your day relying on knee-jerk reactions.
Don’t be an obstacle to the law of attraction. You may have previously focused on outside interference, but the truth is you are more likely to get in your own way. For example, you may have taken time to create a detailed vision.
But then you begin overthinking everything, and hesitation and self doubt take root. Instead of seeing the life you want to unfold, you’re left feeling let down because the law of attraction couldn’t deliver for you.
Personal responsibility, commitment, and mindset are three qualities you'll want to master with this concept.
Four Steps to Implement the Law of Attraction
The first time you hear about the law of attraction, you may feel intimidated because of some of the language used. Whenever people begin talking about asking the universe for what you want, it can seem mystical or overwhelming.
If you want to, you can remove the universe part all together. Simply focus on the fact that you will be designing your own destiny and implementing a plan of action that is based on your intentions alone.
The first thing you want to do when implementing the law of attraction is to identify what it is you want in life. This can be everything from your career to your health and relationships. Many people never even consider exactly what they want.
All they have is a general overview about how they want to feel. They want to feel happy and healthy and financially stable.
There’s usually no additional thought about the specifics involved. So after identifying your general goals, you’ll need to clarify those desires.
Being crystal clear about exactly what you want will help you go after and achieve that success. For example, you don’t want to simply say that you want to have money. You don’t even want to say that you want to have plenty of money.
Neither of those is specific enough. You want to get very detailed about your monetary desires and figure out exactly what dollar amount would be suffice for you to live your dreams.
You may even want to have different levels of financial success, such as an exact amount to provide for your family versus an amount that allows you to live a life of luxury.
Once you’ve identified the life you want and clarified those desires with specifics, you’ll want to spend time tapping into what it will feel like when those goals are achieved.
Believe it or not, the emotional connection you have to those goals will fuel the fire that helps you achieve them.
Just as you were specific with clarifying your desires, you’ll want to be specific when you imagine what it would feel like.
For example, instead of just having a statement that you want to be able to pay your bills every month without hesitation, or stress, you’ll want to sit down, close your eyes, and feel the emotions that would accompany you sending those checks out without a bit of worry.
Imagine all of your senses when you do this. What are you seeing, hearing, and so on when you achieve the goal of being able to pay your bills monthly with ease? This exercise will help you develop a craving and drive to go after that goal.
Once you do these three things, you simply have to allow the law of attraction to work.
If you are consistent and thorough with these exercises, then you should have no problem enjoying all that the law of attraction can do for you.
However, if you continually question your efforts and the concept in general, then your mission will be overshadowed by self doubt and hesitation. Your heart has to be fully in it.
