Hot Wheels Street Hawk Remote Control Flying Car
In an innovate development, Hot Wheels has brought consumers a remote control flying car. The car is a lot of fun and the remote is easy to understand - even for young kids.
If you want the car to go forward, all you have to do is push the remote control directional forward.
You'll need 6 AA batteries to be able to use the remote and these don't come with the purchase, so make sure you have a supply already on hand.
If you want the toy car to turn left, all you have to do is press forward and left at the same time.
You do the same move if you want the vehicle to turn to the right.
As you run the car forward, it gets lift under the wings and will take off.
But the plane mode works only if you have it in the plane mode. That way, it won't fly if you don't want it to.
The plane works best when you have a runway area that's made of hard material - such as a parking lot or driveway.
It's more difficult for the plane to gain speed when it's on grass or dirt.
You'll need a distance of about 6-9 feet to build up enough speed and lift to get the car off the ground.
It's a sturdy toy and well-built, but you don't want to use it during heavy winds.
You'll want to avoid tight turns, also - so that you don't stall out the plane when you're flying it.
If you use the toy as a car, you get great remote control leverage with the steering and the same will apply if it's in the air.
You can use the remote to have the car show off with some impressive moves - such as flips and turns.
The car does have the ability to go airborne up to 200 feet. So that's pretty remarkable.
The kind of air power the car gets when it's flying is caused by the propellers that can deliver more than 35K of RPMs.
For use on the ground, the car can fly across even rough terrain with its 8mm motors and battery.
What a lot of consumers like about the recharge ability is that you can charge it through an ISB port or your cell phone charger.
This is a great toy for kids to engage in racing competitions with siblings or friends - but it's also a perfect gift idea for the not so little, but young at heart guy who loves remote control vehicles.
While anyone of any age can play with this toy, it does take some practice to learn how to get the hang of the in air turns to keep the plane from stalling out and falling.
Because of its superior build, the plane can withstand crashes and still work just fine.
