The wheel is wider on the front so that obstacles such as small rocks won't cause the scooter to veer off-track.
The standing platform is wide enough for a child to ride with his feet side by side if he chooses to.
Children as young as eight can ride one of these scooters and older children can as well - but there is a weight limit of 120 pounds.
The battery and charger are included with the purchase of the scooter.
Though the scooter does have the low speed when in use, some parents do choose to buy a helmet for their child to wear when using the scooter.
