Should You Use Synthetic Drugs for Menopause Problems?

How do you know if you are experiencing menopause or not? When you are about to approach menopause from the age of 40 and above, you will begin to notice that your menstrual flow does not come every month as it has been.

It will rather behave erratically and there are times you may not even experience it for as long as three months. As you approach the age of 45 and above up to 50, the menstrual flow may stop altogether.

When this occurs, you will not be able to conceive anymore. This is because the estrogen and the progesterone responsible for ovulation are no longer being produced.

Apart from that, several health problems may arise due to the cessation of menstruation. One of them is a form of bone problem called osteoporosis.

At menopause, women may end up with general weakness of the body and several other problems.

Science has come up with various things that can be done in order to help every woman deal with the problems associated with menopause. Here are a few of them.

The use of tibolone

Do you have very low libido due to your menopause? Do you experience vaginal dryness and hot flushes? Then you will need the helping hand of tibolone. It will help you out with the problem.

Tibolone is a kind of special synthetic drug that helps to increase the production of the hormones that you have lost due to menopause. The use of this particular synthetic drug has however been linked to one form of medical related problem or the other.

It can cause breast cancer and it can also lead to stroke. It is therefore not advisable to use the drug without medical advice. Make sure you always consult your doctor before taking any of it.

In place of tibolone, another synthetic drug called testosterone can also be used by women to cater for the problem of reduction in sex drive.

This drug too has been discovered to come with its own side effects. It can lead to acne all over the body and it can make women grow facial hair like a man. Cholesterol in the blood may be reduced due to this drug.

It must be taken under the guidance of your doctor. In general, you should not use any medications without the approval of your physician. Many women find much-needed relief with alternative remedies for menopause symptoms
